About OCRV Center and How the Shop Actually Works
We are a specialty collision and service facility for vehicles most body shops cannot physically take. Thirty five thousand square feet, a booth that fits a forty five foot coach, and technicians who have seen these platforms before. We serve Placentia and north Orange County from one location in Yorba Linda.
What kind of shop is this?
We work on all years, all makes and all classes. On any given day the shop holds Class A diesel pushers, Sprinter conversions, enclosed cargo trailers, municipal bucket trucks and the occasional vintage restoration. That mix is deliberate: the equipment and the skills overlap far more than the vehicle categories suggest.
We hold a California Bureau of Automotive Repair license, ARD00288521, and an EPA number, CAL000367879. Capacity runs 50 to 150 repairs a month, around 20 major collisions and 50 to 100 paint jobs.
How do you price work?
Rates are posted rather than negotiated per customer. Body and paint is $210 an hour, mechanical and electrical is $260, diagnostics is $285 with a one hour minimum applied as a credit against an authorized repair, and detail is $95. Paint supplies calculate at $55 an hour against paint hours, body supplies at $5.
Jobs over $2,000 take a 50 percent deposit at authorization, with a further 25 percent when parts arrive on jobs over $10,000. The balance is due at pickup. We would rather state all of that plainly up front than surprise anyone at the counter.
Why is everything done in-shop?
Because the work requires it. Frame straightening needs anchoring and measuring equipment. Paint needs a controlled booth, and a coach sized booth is not something anyone brings to a driveway. Slide out and structural repair needs the vehicle stable and accessible from underneath. Doing this work properly means doing it here.
