Shop Capacity and Throughput by the Numbers
Numbers matter when you are deciding whether a shop can actually absorb your vehicle, or whether it will sit in a yard for a month waiting for a bay. Here is our capacity, stated plainly.
What is the shop's actual capacity?
The facility is 35,000 square feet. Monthly throughput runs 50 to 150 repairs, 100 to 150 maintenance jobs, around 20 major collision repairs and 50 to 100 paint jobs.
Posted labor rates are $210 an hour for body and paint, $260 for mechanical and electrical, $285 for diagnostics with a one hour minimum applied as a credit, and $95 for detail. Paint supplies calculate at $55 an hour against paint hours and body supplies at $5. Hazmat and disposal is $45 flat where chemicals, refrigerant or LP are involved.
Parts carry 100 percent markup at or under $100 and 35 percent above $100. Special order parts require a full non refundable deposit at order, because they cannot be returned.
