How This Shop Ended Up Specializing in Large Vehicles
Most collision shops turn away anything longer than a pickup, because the vehicle will not fit the booth and the technicians have never seen a laminated sidewall. That gap is the entire reason this shop exists in the form it does today.
What problem were we solving?
An RV owner with a damaged front cap has a genuinely hard time finding help. General body shops lack the height and the booth. RV dealers often send structural work out. The owner ends up bouncing between three places while the coach sits, and the insurance claim ages the whole time.
We built around that problem: the space to take the vehicle, the booth to paint it, and the willingness to do structural, systems and interior work under one roof so nothing gets subcontracted out and delayed.
What did that change about the work?
Once the facility could take a forty five foot coach, the rest followed. Fleet operators arrived because we could take a box truck without disrupting a route. Municipal departments arrived because we could handle a fire apparatus or a bucket truck and produce documentation their purchasing process required. Van conversions arrived because we understood aftermarket builds rather than treating them as a problem.
