We bill AGWS claims direct from our 35,000 square foot facility, about ten minutes from Placentia. That covers the estimate, the photographs, the teardown findings and the supplement conversation, so you are not relaying messages between an adjuster and a body shop while your vehicle sits.

How does a AGWS claim run at this shop?

The sequence is the same for every carrier, and the part owners underestimate is teardown. An estimate written from photographs cannot see what is behind a damaged panel, so the first number is almost never the final number.

You bring the vehicle in and we document the damage properly: wide shots, close shots, part numbers, and measurements where the structure is involved. That package goes to AGWS with our estimate attached.

Once teardown is authorized we open the damaged area and photograph what is underneath. On an RV that frequently means water intrusion behind a sidewall, a slide mechanism that was never cycled during the inspection, or LP and electrical runs that were left off the original estimate entirely. Each of those becomes a documented supplement rather than an argument.

Questions we get asked

Do you work directly with AGWS?

Yes. We bill AGWS claims direct, which means you are not fronting the repair cost and waiting on reimbursement. We send the estimate, photographs and teardown findings to the adjuster handling your file, and we deal with the supplement conversation ourselves rather than putting you in the middle of it.

Will AGWS pay the labor rates you post?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. Insurance billed work may be written at carrier negotiated rates that differ from our posted retail rates of $210 an hour for body and paint and $260 for mechanical and electrical. Where the numbers diverge we show you exactly where, in writing, before any work is authorized.

What if AGWS leaves something off the estimate?

That is common on RV and van claims, and it is usually not deliberate. A first estimate is written from photographs before anything comes apart. Once we open the damaged area we document what is actually behind it and submit a supplement with photographs, part numbers and labor times attached so the adjuster has what they need to approve it.

Can I choose this shop for my AGWS claim?

Yes. In California you choose who repairs your vehicle. A carrier may suggest a shop from its network, but the decision is yours, and RV, camper van and commercial bodies need lift capacity, a booth that fits the vehicle and technicians who have seen the platform before.
